Carlisha Brown Robinson possesses over 25 years of experience in the high-tech computer software industry. She has contributed her expertise to major corporations such as IBM and BMC Software, as well as to startups including Innography and CPA Global.

Carlisha is dedicated to bringing innovative software products to market, but this does not define her identity. Born in Grambling, Louisiana during the aftermath of the Civil Rights movement, she is deeply shaped by the love of her large family within a small, historically Black community. Although she relocated to the west and attended schools in the Los Angeles area, experiencing busing to attend "better schools" in the valley, her most profound educational and life experiences are rooted in the South. After completing high school at Grambling High Laboratory School, she graduated in 1991 with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics from the esteemed Grambling State University. Carlisha has since chosen Austin as her professional and personal home.
