The goals of The Excellence Project are to:
Justice for everyone: From everyday interactions to experiences with the system, justice is our north star.
Amplifying the light within all children: We all suffer if the inherent light within every child is unable to shine as it was intended.
Equity every day in every way: Every decision we make and every action we take is rooted in equity; if it doesn’t lead to greater equity, it doesn’t happen.
Listening first: We listen so we can understand and take actions that meet the self-defined needs of our community and partners.
Education and awareness as a practice: Ignorance is not bliss; we engage in a practice of continued education and awareness raising for ourselves and our constituents.
Everyone is a part of the solution: Each person has a role to play in breaking the pipeline. We are here to help people identify that role.
Acknowledging the work of our ancestors: We honor and build upon the sacrifices (or progress) our ancestors made so we can create a more just future.
